Today. – Day 2

Since Day 2’s challenge is just a one sentence post and I’m supposed to write it everyday, I’ll just tell you what was the whole thing about #Trust30.

#Trust30 is an online initiative and 30-day writing challenge that encourages you to look within and trust yourself. Use this as an opportunity to reflect on your now, and to create direction for your future. 30 prompts from inspiring thought-leaders will guide you on your writing journey.

If you’d like to join too, visit http://ralphwaldoemerson.me/ and please also let me know so I could follow your answers :).

I think this was what I needed. It has been more than two years since I’ve decided to take a plunge to follow my dream. I did not look for a ‘real’ job in my field of study – IT & Digital Media (except for that one time because of the visa thing) and I kept on going, learning, and writing my book. There are plenty of times when I felt like I’ve failed, mainly because I haven’t sold anything yet, but on the other hand, I know I’ve came far and I wholeheartedly believe I will make it through!

So here I am, doing this challenge, making an effort to strengthen the trust. Because I know I can.

Day 2 – The Prompt

Today by Liz Danzico

Your genuine action will explain itself, and will explain your other genuine actions. Your conformity explains nothing. The force of character is cumulative. – Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance

If ‘the voyage of the best ship is a zigzag line of a hundred tacks,’ then it is more genuine to be present today than to recount yesterdays. How would you describe today using only one sentence? Tell today’s sentence to one other person. Repeat each day

Today is a wonderful sunny day when we were not doing the things we planned earlier and ended up enjoying it even more.
