Spreepark Plänterwald Berlin

Once upon a time, in a land of the happy place on the former East side of Berlin…

There was this girl who desperately wanted to become friends with dinosaurs. She hopped into the train entering the park, hoping to find more of them.

Going through swamps,

tunnels,

and getting chased by Herr Spectacles.

She saw a ferris wheel but nobody was there.

All she could find was a T-Rex lying on the ground, guarded by the swans.

But she would not give up so she asked a passerby horse…

Who told her where to find one!

And they lived happily ever after. (with the glaring stare of Ms Brontosaurus!)

Spreepark Plänterwald Berlin used to be an amusement park in the 90s. It was closed and then abandoned in the 2000s. Since then, nature takes over the park and grows around the rides. Currently it’s not so abandoned anymore (which is a pity for authenticity, but good for the economy – I guess). There’s a cafe at the front and you could also take a train ride that goes around the whole park.
