Mini Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I love the series, but I like it less and less with each book. It starts to feel like Becky kept on falling in the same hole…
Other than that issue, it’s quite entertaining. I find Becky endearing… she has lots of flaws but somehow I could still see she has a kind heart, and she always meant well ;).
What surprised me is even if some things are getting quite predictable, Sophie Kinsella still has some nice twists in the end. It’s funny and light hearted, and I don’t want to put it down.
I would recommend this book if you like chicklits, definitely if you’re a shopaholic series fan… if you haven’t read the others, I’d recommend starting with the earlier ones.
I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like shopping and silly heroines.
Up until the “silly heroines” I was trying to talk myself into reading one. I’m hopelessly bad at reading chicklit but I’m fully confident that you’ll guide me to one that I will enjoy reading someday.
Thanks for the review!
